If you grew up with The Backstreet Boys, then chances are you're going to go crazy when you hear their new single Don't Go Breaking My Heart.
There's no denying that even if we're in 2018, Nick, AJ, Brian, Howie, and Kevin are timeless! Their new music video, in fact, is giving us major '90s vibes. Here are five examples of how the new BSB are reviving the BSB of the '90s.
#1) The colors in the video...
The blue as seen in Shape of my Heart, the bright colors of Get Down, the yellows and oranges of Everybody; this new audiovisual seems to link to their older videos. Only a true fan notices these small details!
#2) A.J being... A.J.
A.J. remains impeccable, you can even say that the years have favored him. In this video, we see him rocking a look that's similar to his looks in the '90s: hat, glasses and an ornament on the neck. Everything indicates that he is still the "rebel" of the group and we love it!
#3) Kevin and his unmistakable "serious" look
The oldest of the Backstreet has also been characterized as the most formal and serious, but it doesn't go unnoticed. His long hair and beard, which he's been flaunting since early 2000, give him that mysterious vibe.
#4) Dance moves that only BSB can rock
Who doesn't love their synchronized dance moves in the music videos? BSB's new video takes us back to that unique choreography that perfectly meshes with the visuals and music in the background.
#5) Catchy song title...
Nothing says Backstreet Boys like having "My Heart" in the title (Shape of my Heart, Quit Playing Games with my Heart). This new single may well have been confused with one of their old songs, but it is a completely new material that invites us to listen to it again and again from the beginning. Well played, BSB!
The next time they tell you that the '90s have died, show them this video, and in passing, keep the backstreet legacy alive so that the younger generations know about good music!
