Although they are absolutely beautiful and embody what is meant to be the best day of your life, wedding dresses can be quite the hassle—and itchy! Only a bride can tell you that the struggle is very much real, especially when it comes to using the bathroom. But don't fret because the internet is here to make every bride-to-be's life easier.
One bride recently shared her DIY hack for when she had to use the bathroom. On Facebook, she expressed that she was worried that her mermaid wedding dress would not allow her to have free hands to use the toilet paper or if she had some other emergency.
Then, she blessed the world with her brilliant wedding hack using only an IKEA shopping bag.
"My bridal bathroom helper hack costs about 0.80 euro and I did it the day before my wedding. It took only 3 minutes. What I like best is it’s almost free and allows me to make my life easier on my wedding day," she said.
Cool, right? Here's how to do your own at home, according to Ikea Hackers:
- IKEA big blue bag
- Fold the bag
- Cut the middle of the bag's bottom big enough so that your hips fit
- Step inside the bag and lift it up
- Place the large handles on your shoulder while you sit on the toilet
- Voila! The bag helps lift your puffy dress and allows you to use your hands freely!
