Nicole has dubbed the friendship group as 'positively broken'

Series 16 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire came to a fiery climax this week (Monday 29 May), as the glamorous ladies of Cheshire gathered in lavish gowns to rehash old rows and rivalries under the watchful eye of host/referee Brian Dowling for the ever-iconic reunion episode.

And, as ever, nothing was off limits: the Hanna Kinsella and Rachel Lugo VS Paige Chohan feud (which reached new heights during the reunion), the girls' sex lives, and even that strange gala moment between Hanna, Rachel and Rachel's ex partner, Nick.

One of the biggest characters at the reunion, however, was arguably – and, let's face it, predictably – Nicole Sealey, who came to blows with both Sheena Lynch and newbie Housewife Natasha Hamilton during the hour-long reunion; even referring to Sheena, Natasha and Lystra Adams (who has she has been feuding with for months) as "the Witches of Eastwick" during a particularly tense moment.

At one point Seema Malhotra also appeared to take fire at Nicole and her behaviour this series, leading Brian to step in to suggest that Nicole "needs a hug" after getting it from all sides.

As Brian made a desperate attempt to sprinkle some positivity over the wounded on the battlefield at the end of the episode, Nicole piped in commenting that the group was "positively broken". Scathing.

This season, Nicole re-entered the group still feuding with Lystra (to the point where neither party were talking – until Lystra physically removed a chair from underneath Nicole during this season's dinner party). She also butted heads with Natasha a few times, although brought her flowers as a peace offering in the series finale, and came to blows with Sheena over a comment about Lystra at Seema's charity event.

As much as Nicole has warranted (even welcomed) plenty of the drama directed her way this series, it's never nice to watch someone with little to no support take such an onslaught solo; things can elevate fast in situations like that and we have to say, they sort of did, so well done to Brian for defusing things.

All of the ladies took to their individual Instagram accounts to help promote last night's climactic reunion episode; many taking the opportunity to thank the cast, the crew, ITVX and confirm that no matter what they all love each other. It's safe to say that Nicole did not follow suit...

Mrs Sealey simply shared the trailer from the RHOCheshire's official Instagram account on her story and added an Instagram sticker that read 'THE END'.

We're praying that Nicole was just referring to the end of the series and not her time on the series given what has gone down this season on and off camera – because a RHOCheshire without a Nicole Sealey is like a May without a Bank holiday.

Frankly, we don't ever want to imagine such a thing. Let's hope they can all positively fix this ahead of series 17 contracts.
