Just when you thought "Laurel or Yanny" was over, a new debate on Twitter is making the rounds. Comedian Celeste Yim unleashed the controversy with a tweet in which she wondered if the charismatic yellow character, SpongeBob, is a sea sponge or is simply a sponge to wash the dishes.

After questioning the origin of Bob and making a poll, users began to speculate and the answers are too funny. Here are some of the funniest responses on Twitter:

And, finally, Yim concluded the poll with the result she suspected: most users support the theory that Bob is a kitchen sponge! So the discussion is closed, Although we want to know your opinion, what do you think? Leave us your comments!
