The tattoos were created using fragrances from Agilex, a perfume and fragrance manufacturer. Printed with vegetable-based ink, the herb fragrances include top notes of red thyme and Italian bergamot, middle notes of sage and rosemary, and bottom notes of musk and sandalwood.
ICYMI, scents have three phases, or “notes.” Top notes are generally the lightest notes and are recognized immediately. They’re also the first to fade and should transition smoothly to middle notes, or heart notes. Heart notes are the longest lasting of the scents and generally, the strongest. The base notes of a fragrance appear at the end and usually linger on the skin until the scent fades away completely.
The candy tattoos all have scents reminiscent of vanilla frosting, candy corn, and cotton candy if you’re looking for something a little sweeter. The floral tattoos include notes of pink poppies, ylang-ylang, poplar wood, and fuchsia petals.
Even though the tattoos don’t smell exactly like their corresponding image, how cool is it to not have to apply perfume every morning, because, surprise! It’s already stamped on you. Sign us up!
