When it comes to privileges, Queen Elizabeth is the one who has them all. Although some of her closest relatives also maintain some, there are clearly things that only the monarch can do and others in the royal family can't. One of those things is to get on the royal train, which only Philip, Carlos, and Camila have permission to enter. William only went once, for his birthday. But it seems that the Queen really likes Meghan Markle because she received an invitation to travel on the nine-car train.

Prince Harry and Kate Middleton never traveled on the train and neither did the three youngest of the family. Next week the Queen and Duchess of Sussex will be the only two people of the royal family to travel to Cheshire.
What will they do during their visit?
The Queen and the Duchess of Sussex will inaugurate a new bridge and open the show at the Storyhouse Theater. Anyway, we will see the rest of the royal family publicly the following Saturday, when they appear on the balcony of Buckingham for the ceremony called Trooping the Color. This will also be a first time for Meghan as a member of royalty.
Many call the royal train a "palace on wheels" because of the luxuries it has inside. In 2017 it was used only 14 times. The queen is 92 years old and needs comfort to travel long distances. It was used for the first time in 1842 by Queen Victoria and contains rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a dining room for twelve people.
