There is a royalty rule that Prince George has followed until May 19. But, in order to be a pageboy at his uncle Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, the 4-year-old prince had to break it and this meant doing something that royal kids are not allowed to do until they turn 8 or 9 years.
What is it?
Turns out that royal children cannot wear long pants until they are 8 or 9 years. According to Elite Daily, "it is considered very suburban for a child to wear long pants when he is small."
But on this occasion, George wore black pants with a red stripe similar to that used by his uncle and father at the royal wedding.
Will he wear pants again in the next four years? Probably not. But what we do know is that he looked adorable at the wedding and, moreover, is rebellious as his uncle.
