I'm going to be on @theellenshow tomorrow! I'm there to talk about @bunnyearspodcast and @bunnyearsweb plus Ellen asks me a billion questions about my life!
There is nothing more Christmas than a decorated tree, gift exchanges, and watching Home Alone. But the classic holiday film is the same reason the not-so-little Kevin McCallister hides out during the holiday. And he got real about it on The Ellen Show.
Although the film is transmitted in all channels of the universe during the December dates, the truth is that Macaulay Culkin never sees it.
The actor also said that at the end of the year parties some super fans of the film invite him to see the flick, which seems as flattering as strange. Besides not seeing Home Alone, Culkin is committed to another decision: not to leave his house during the festive days.
As you can imagine, people ask him all the time to recreate the iconic expression that made him a household name. You know, the one where he screams with his hands on his face. When this happens, he always says "no."
The now 37-year-old actor likes to keep a low profile, and even jokes that he's like the groundhog that only comes out once a year.
Culkin decided to move away from the spotlight for 14 years due to fatigue and a history of abuse. The young actor recorded a total of 14 films in just six years. So he managed to spend more time in school, with other children his age. After that break, he returned in 2003 with the film Party Monster.
