“I find comfort knowing the world is rooting for Lucas. Like any mother, I still have fears, but at least I know that the world is a loving place.” Lucas’ mom, Cortney, shares her story in honor of #WorldDownSyndromeDay. Link in bio for the full story from @todayshow and @todayparents.
If you thought those two faces are super cute, brace yourself because both Gerber ~babies~ met in person and the adorable photo has captivated the internet.

According to CNN, Lucas' family was on vacation in Florida, where Turner lives. They wanted to meet Gerber's original face, so the company organized the meeting and took a photo that became a first in Gerber history.
When the company welcomed Lucas, Ann shared some nice words:
Our original Gerber baby, Ann Turner Cook, welcomes Lucas to the family! “Let me offer my warmest congratulations to Lucas, our newest Gerber spokesbaby, and to his parents. I know you will take great pride in representing Gerber this year, as I have for the past 90 years. There is no greater privilege than to be a universal symbol for babies all over the world. I am delighted to take part in this celebration. Lucas is precious and I look forward to watching him grow this year!” – Ann Turner Cook #AnythingForBaby
