Superhero movies have always been very popular and so prominent should be the stories of real-life superheroes—as is the case of Mamoudou Gassama. He is an immigrant from Mali who lives in France and had a heroic act that quickly went viral and will never be forgotten.
The young man rescued a child in danger in the most incredible way: the little one accidentally ended up hanging from the balcony of a building, and Gassama did not hesitate to climb the building ~just like Spider-Man~ and rescue the boy before falling.
A real-life hero
According to the BBC, Gassama took action before it was too late climbing four floors through the balconies until he reached the small boy. Fortunately, it was just a scare, and Gassama's bravery gave a happy ending to the story.
Check out the emotional video below:

As a recognition for his achievement, the French president, Emmanuel Macron, met with Gassama and promised him French citizenship. As if that were not enough, the brave young man will be part of the French Fire Department, where he can continue to be a true hero.
- With Mr Gassama who saved a child’s life on Saturday by climbing 4 floors with his bare hands. I told him that in recognition of his heroic act he would have his papers in order as quickly as possible and that the Paris fire brigade would be keen to welcome him to their ranks. I also invited him to submit a naturalization request because France is built on desire and Mr Gassama’s commitment clearly showed that he has that desire!
Apparently, Gassama told Macron that he had arrived from Mali a few months ago with the dream of having a life in France. As his heroic act is a true inspiration, the president decided to support him and offer him citizenship.
We need more people like Gassama in the world! Don't you think?
